MERCURY SHOES

DESIGNER YOUNG YI

Mercury shoes will be built using the technical algorithms embedded in                   . The main components conducting the energy conversion include a pendulum-like mechanism inside the shoe closely above the sole and a generator that is connected to a rechargeable battery. EVA foam will compose the exterior and parts of the interior of the shoes to ensure water resistance. The functional goal is to achieve around 30 minutes of walking around sustain three hours of power for LED lamp. There will be a set of LED bulbs connected to the in-sole batteries that allow easy detection in dark areas. The lights will be self-sustained as long asthere's occasional impact by walking or running around.
