FINAL PRESENTATIONS

Young: Complete basic functionality of Mercury Shoes (left), start constructing skeleton of shoes.

Freddie: Build wind turbine main component.

 

Week 10

Young: Complete adding interior of shoes, start adding exterior materials.

Freddie: Complete wind turbine, start constructing skeleton of Medusavest.

 

BREAK WEEK

Additional work on e-textile pieces

 

 

160B Performance/Showcase

 

Weeks 11 / 12:

INITIAL PRESENTATIONS (Week 12)

 

The garments:

     - Polish up e-textile pieces, continue building exterior of both the Mercury Shoes and Medusavest.

 


Setting up a Team: 

     - Assemble a camera crew/assistants (as needed)

            → Sound director, DP, makeup artist, etc.

     - 1-2 models (most likely willing peers to wear the e-textiles)

 

Promotional Video Content:

     - Develop theme: PLANET MARS

 

 

Weeks 13 / 14:

The garments:

- Complete both Mercury Shoes and Medusavest.

 

Studio:

     - Reserve a spot in Media/Communication Center studio for filming

 

Video Content: 

     -Draft rough storyboard for promotional video

 


Weeks 15 / 16:

MIDTERM PRESENTATIONS (Week 15)

 

Video Content:

     - Rehearse movements and scenes with model(s)

     - Film in studio

     - Sound System

 

 

Weeks 17 / 18:

Video Content:

      - Additional filming if needed

      - Ensure all contents are filmed and scenes are consistent

 

Editing

     - Edit filmed scenes into a completed e-textile fashion digital catalogue

     - Polish up video, upload content onto websites, publicity

 

Showcase

       - Dream Festival (May 23, 2014)

 

 

Weeks 19 / 20:

FINAL PRESENTATIONS (Week 19)

 

-Diagram of exhibit in finer detail if needed

-Draft Timeline of "performance" and general itinerary of public exhibit

 

Public Art Show at Dream Festival 

      - Prepare all promotional video contents into a DVD to be displayed on a tablet

            - Arrange e-textile pieces to be displayed in an outdoor gallery setting

                        → Prepare mannequin (if need be)
